Day two of Startup Weekend Vienna 2015 started like any weekend day should start: with a royal breakfast. And pushing some code to Github. After lunch Thomas Schranz, Franz Enzenhofer and co-working colleague from Salzburg Romy Sigl refueled motivation levels with lightning talks.
Thomas Schranz chatted about ‘how to build your customer base from day one’ by building something people want, focusing on the customer, blogging about your product and always be “like Columbo”. Franz Enzenhofer – Austria’s SEO enfant terrible – gave some great insights on how to make people stay on your websites longer. Romy Sigl evangelized how exciting it is to (get to) do what you love. She showed some great examples of people who are happy because they do something crazy-they-love.
Yesterday was really about working on the MVP’s assisted by mentors like Bernd Gruber , Romy Sigl, Thomas Schranz, Georg Kaindl, Marcel Schnellinger, Christopher Kronenberg, Franz Enzenhofer, Rolf Mistelbacher and Wolfgang Gumpelmaier from wemakeit.at – who will give out a workshop on crowdfunding to one of the winners at the award ceremony today.
Dinner time couldn’t come fast enough for some of us. Work hard,… eat hard?! And afterwards? People went straight back to work and stayed at the space until the wee hours to Get Stuff Done.
